Your advantage is based on tradition

Anyone who has been in business for over 150 years has learned two things above all: to think long-term and to act innovatively again and again in the short term.

Still a family business today, for us the most important values are consistency and reliability. A stance that we believe is modern at all times. And one that you as a Private Label Partner can benefit from in a comprehensive way.

Sustainability

Sustainable innovation and collaboration for climate protection

Sustainability is not only characteristic of the products we produce, but also of the company itself. Whether it’s economics, ecology, or social responsibility – we are aware of our environment.

Sustainability

Our time is characterized by numerous challenges…

...as well as new technologies and ever-increasing levels of excellence. At the same time, the importance of sustainability is steadily increasing for many companies. In our corporate culture, sustainability and responsibility for people and the environment are firmly embedded. Therefore, we have been developing a comprehensive sustainability strategy for years. This is reflected in a special focus on environmental and climate protection, innovative, future-proof raw materials, and sustainable, durable, and energy-efficient products.

Economically speaking, sustainability is the primary purpose of lubricants. They primarily serve to reduce friction and protect against corrosion and wear. This can extend machine operating times, thus conserving raw materials.

For us, sustainability also means...

…that we take responsibility for process reliability as well as active work and health protection – here we are the driving force.

Social commitment and personal responsibility are also among our core values as a stable company. Compliance with environmental and social standards is equally important, as is employee satisfaction, the reconciliation of work and family life, health management, and modern training and development opportunities. By promoting diversity and increased social engagement, we are creating contemporary frameworks to ensure continued success as an attractive and comprehensively sustainable company in the future.

With which we stand for sustainability:

  • Siebert Competence Program
  • Development of application-specific and emission-reducing lubricants
  • Active work and health protection
  • Support for various local social initiatives
  • Member of the UN initiative Global Compact
  • E-learning system „SAM“ for further education
  • regular continuing and advanced training courses
Location

Germany is our home

We are an internationally active company with its home base in Mönchengladbach, Germany. Here, under the quality seal Made in Germany, we develop and produce excellent cooling lubricants and specialty fats for the entire world.

Research and development are particularly important to us and shape our company. This is also reflected in our collaboration with various research partners, such as the German Aerospace Center (DLR), the University of Applied Sciences Niederrhein, and RWTH.

This is how Siebert manages to develop new, innovative products again and again that meet the requirements for sustainability and human and environmental compatibility.

Engagement

Engaged member of UNITI

Siebert has always been a company with a sustainable focus. Beyond our own operations, we are therefore a committed member of UNITI, the Federal Association of Medium-sized Oil Companies e.V. This association represents around 40 percent of all roadside refueling stations that supply around three million customers daily. In addition, all members associated with UNITI as independent lubricant manufacturers and retailers achieve a market share of 50 percent in Germany. UNITI e.V. is committed to the Paris climate goals and advocates for technology openness and ideological freedom to achieve the ambitious CO₂ reduction targets.
